Clean up after your Dog

There are about ten million dogs in the UK, producing around one million tonnes of faeces each year, so it's no wonder dog-fouling is the most offensive type of litter on our streets and is constantly rated by the public as one of the most important issues affecting their local area.

There is an increasing trend  to introduce more areas where dogs are banned. This is gaining increasing support amongst the public, fuelled by the very small minority of irresponsible owners who do not clean up after their dog.

Please remember to clean up after your dog.

Animal Theft

Those of you who keep animals need to be aware that there has been an increase in theft for some time.

There have been numerous cases of dog theft in the country and other pets are also being taken.

As the economic climate becomes even more difficult it would be reasonable to expect this trend to continue.
