Know what you breathe

Our sensor is located near Whittlesea Railway Station. It accurately measures particulate matter for PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 to give Air Quality Index (AQI) readings based on inhalable particles that are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream. 

 The results show when particulate matter in the air like pollen, dust, or smoke from nearby fires make it wise to extra care or even stay inside

The air quality from our sensor is show below. The readings are counting how much particulate matter is in the air at our sensor. A low reading means there is less and a high reading shows there is more particulate matter carried in the air.
